The Culver Cup is selecting 50 of the most innovative AI creators to redefine the future of storytelling using advanced generative AI tools. If you believe you have the skills and vision, keep reading!
Selected creators will collaborate on a creative treatment from renowned director David Slade (known for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and more) and use 3D assets from Global Objects to produce a short film within just three weeks. Participants will receive complimentary access and credits to cutting-edge GenAI tools like Luma AI’s Dream Machine and Playbook3D, along with educational resources to enhance their technical journey.
From the submitted films, the top eight will advance to the Elite Eight. These standout films will be showcased in a live, head-to-head playoff bracket on October 14, 2024, at the historic Culver Theater during LA Tech Week. A panel of distinguished industry judges will determine the winners of each bracket, culminating in the crowning of the ultimate champion.
